Sub-Account Futures/Spot Copy Trading Function Guide

Trader Feature Introduction

  1. Log in to XT

  • Click the user icon in the top-right corner, and click Sub-Account.
     
  • If your account hasn’t completed KYC verification or bound Google Authenticator, a prompt (Figure 2.1) will appear, requiring completion of these steps first.
     
 
  1. Create a Sub-Account

  • Enter a sub-account username and click Create.

  • Choose between General (cannot log in directly) or Customized (allows direct login with account and password).
  • Go to Set → Account Permission→ Enable permissions for spot, margin, or futures trading as needed.
  1. Fund Transfer

  • In the transfer pop-up, select transfer from Main Account to Sub-Account, enter the amount (Note: Minimum 100 USDT required to apply as a trader), and click Confirm.
  1. Switch to Sub-Account and Apply as a Trade

  • Click Copy Trading → Futures Copy Trading at the top.
  • Apply to become a lead trader (Note: Sub-accounts currently cannot follow other traders).
  • KYC verification (If the main account is verified, sub-accounts skip this step).
  • Set the copy trading leader’s avatar and nickname.
  • To apply, your account’s total assets must be at least 100 USDT, achievable via purchases, deposits, or transfers from the main account.
  • Agree to the terms, submit the application, and you will receive notification upon system approval.
 
  1. Initiate Copy

  • On the sub-account copy trading homepage, click Initiate Copy or go directly to the futures/spot trading page to start.
  • On the lead trader’s data page, you can view current/historical trades, follower info, profit-sharing records, and adjust copy trading settings.
 

APP

  1. The APP does not support creating new sub-accounts, managing sub-account permissions, or transferring funds.
  2. For existing sub-accounts, go to Personal Center → Switch Account, select, and switch to the sub-account.
  3. After switching, follow the steps above to apply as a lead trader and conduct copy trading.
